Step 1

Foundation Building

We begin by analysing your business to determine which activities are regulated and the permissions needed. This involves discussing your business model, governance, risk, compliance, systems and controls. We then gather all the necessary information to begin the application process, ensuring the FCA requirements are met.

Step 2

Crafting Your Application

With the essential information at hand, we customise your FCA application on the FCA Connect system to reflect your business's unique aspects. This includes Senior Management checks, developing policies, procedures, your Regulatory Business Plan and any other relevant documentation. We address potential FCA concerns proactively, streamlining the process. Once all the information is completed for your application, a final review by your firm ensures the application accurately represents your business.

Step 3

Application Submission and Follow-Up

We submit your application via the FCA's Connect system at this stage the application fees will be paid. A Case Officer from the FCA will assigned to your application and begin the review process. The Case Officer will interrogate the information submitted, we will be at hand to assist in responding to any inquiries, ensuring clear and comprehensive communication.

Step 4

Final Authorisation Steps

Post-authorisation, we will set up a handover meeting where all documentation created for the application will be released. We will explain how to comply with FCA rules. We provided further ongoing support and outsourced compliance assurance monitoring to ensure the firm adheres to the FCA regulations and prepares for future regulatory changes.

Skye Compliance ensures a clear and personalised approach to FCA authorisation, helping your business meet regulatory requirements confidently.
